Hughes Furniture refurbished all properties in Belfast, Coleraine, Derry, Newry & Bangor for The Simon Community in Northern Ireland.
The project involved removing the old furniture from rooms that were occupied, liasioning with Heads of Services and Team Leaders, flooring contractors & painters, and positioning and assembling the new furniture.
These properties were mostly multi-storey and in main town thoroughfares, so getting the work completed whilst also taking Health & Safety into account was a major task.
All of the case goods were manufactured to BS 4875 parts 7 & 8 for strength & stability and the soft seating for bedrooms and common rooms as well as mattresses and dining chair seats were manufactured and supplied to Crib 5 fire retardancy for contract furniture.
